Westbourne Announces St Luke’s Hospice as Charity of the Year
Westbourne are proud to announce that our chosen charity for the 2025 academic year is St Luke’s Hospice.
Throughout the year, pupils across all year groups will take part in a variety of fundraising activities to support this much-loved local charity. They will be putting into practice the business acumen skills they develop through the BizKids programme, aiming to raise as much money as possible while learning valuable lessons about teamwork, entrepreneurship and community spirit.
Our four Houses: Whitfield, Mercer, Holmes and Johnson will also be taking on the challenge, competing to see who can raise the most for this important cause. From bake sales and sponsored challenges to creative enterprise projects, there will be plenty of opportunities for pupils to get involved and make a difference.
At Westbourne, we believe in nurturing not only academic excellence but also compassion, leadership and a sense of social responsibility. Partnering with St Luke’s Hospice gives our pupils the chance to see first-hand how their efforts can have a real and lasting impact within the community.
We look forward to an exciting year of fundraising and hope our entire school community will get behind this fantastic cause.
