The Admissions Journey
How to apply - UK based pupils
Complete our initial enquiry form to establish background and interests. Allow us to tailor your visit and send you our Prospectus.
Contact us to book an individual tour and meet our staff or attend one of our Open Events
Formally register your child as a candidate for entry by completing a registration form. A fee of £50 is payable on submission. Once Step 1 & 2 is complete our admissions manager will send through the Registration link.

Reception
Your child will be required to attend 2 taster sessions in the spring term prior to their intended entry year. |
Year 1 - Year 11 Prospective pupils visit school for an individual taster day where they can get to know Westbourne and its pupils through spending a day with one of our Junior School classes. We will tailor the taster experience to your child’s interests and subject preferences to ensure they have the best possible experience. |
SEN Adjustments will be made to our individual taster days based on the needs of the child. For example, 2 half days may be more appropriate. |
A reference from your child’s current school is obtained, plus academic reports, and any other relevant supporting documentation.
Once an offer letter has been issued, an acceptance form and £250 deposit are required to secure your child’s place.
Before starting, accepted pupils will be invited to attend a number of transition events (if appropriate). Entry for accepted pupils can start at any point during the academic year, unlike the state sector we are not restricted by set start dates in the year.
