Little Shop Of Horrors Performance
Little Shop of Horrors
On Wednesday and Thursday we were back at the Montgomery Theatre after a couple of years break, and a 55 strong cast and crew performed two sell out shows to parents, friends, staff and our wider community.
The cast have been rehearsing since September, they have dedicated a huge amount of time to rehearsals, as well as at home learning scripts and songs, and we hope that everyone who got to see the show enjoyed the result of their efforts. A special mention to the talented Year 11 pupils for whom this is their final Westbourne show. Many of them have been taking part in productions here for a number of years, they will be hugely missed, and hopefully some of you might be able to come back and help out in the future.Thank you to all of the parents, relatives and friends of our talented pupils for supporting them this week and over the last months of rehearsals.
These productions don't happen without a massive amount of effort from a team of people, so thank you from us all to Mrs Foster Major, Ms Stroud, Mr Magenty, and all of the other staff who have given up time to prepare the show or are helping out in any way this week. It has been brilliant having Holly join us on the production team, she has dedicated a lot of her time to teaching the dances, so a big thank you to her, as well as a number of other former students who are involved this year.
Finally, we would both like to say a big thank you to Mr Edmanson, and the rest of the SLT, for their ongoing support in this first year for the two of us working together as a production team.
Mr King and Miss Bloor
