Westbourne Junior School Winter Concert
What a magical Winter Concert!
The whole of the Junior School sparkled with Christmas cheer on Tuesday as pupils took to the stage for their annual Christmas Celebration Concert at St Mark’s Church. Every child from Reception to Year 6 was given a chance to shine, creating a wonderfully festive atmosphere for families and staff.
The event opened with a beautiful lantern procession, accompanied by our fabulous Junior Choir. Reception and Key Stage 1 delighted the audience with action songs, percussion pieces and spoken word performances featuring snowmen, Santa and mischievous elves.
Key Stage 2 followed with a joyful programme of Christmassy songs and instrumental accompaniments, showcasing the children’s growing musical confidence and talent.
One of the most heart-warming moments of the afternoon was hearing the entire school sing together with real gusto. The children especially enjoyed seeing their families join in for a lively rendition of The Twelve Days of Christmas.
What a wonderful way to launch us all into the Christmas spirit!
A special shout-out to our incredible Junior School Head of Music, Mrs Stroud, for her hard work, passion and dedication in bringing this concert to life.
