Wellbeing at Westbourne
At Westbourne School, pupil wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. Each half term, we focus on a different theme to support our community, celebrate diversity, and encourage positive personal growth.
This half term – Youth Mental Health & Black History Month
Autumn – Kindness, Anti-Bullying & Respectful Relationships Online
Spring 1 – Safer Internet: Respect & Relationships
Spring 2 – Race, Heritage & Cultural Identity
Summer 1 – Diversity & Inclusion
Summer 2 – Change & Personal Development
We also mark key dates including:
🧠 World Mental Health Day (10 Oct)
💜 Anti-Bullying Week (10–14 Nov)
📱 Safer Internet Day (10 Feb)
🌍 World Day for Cultural Diversity (21 May)
🤝 International Friendship Day (30 July)
Pupil voice plays a central role, with contributions from our School Council, Equality Forum, Head Pupils, Prefects, and PASS surveys ensuring our initiatives truly reflect our community.
Together, we are building a culture of kindness, respect, and resilience.
