"Having experienced Westbourne as a parent over a number of years, I have a real appreciation for the distinctive culture the school offers. For me, Westbourne provides a bespoke, individual approach to education, where each pupil is recognised and supported according to their own needs, strengths and potential."

I currently run my own Health & Safety consultancy business, which I established 11 years ago, working primarily within the construction sector. My background is in compliance & operations management within the automotive and rail Industries, and my current role focuses on supporting clients to remain legally compliant across both Health & Safety and Environmental Management. These experiences allow me to bring practical knowledge of risk management, compliance, governance and business operations to my role as a Governor.

Alongside my professional work, I also serve as a Magistrate, which has given me further experience in decision-making, impartiality, responsibility and considering matters from a balanced and evidence-based perspective.

I have two children who both progressed through Westbourne Junior School. My son is now in the Senior School, while my daughter has since moved on to Sheffield Girls’. I joined the Governing Body to contribute my professional and wider experience and to support the ongoing development of the school, while helping to preserve the values, character and individual approach that make Westbourne such a special environment for pupils and their families.
