Governors

Dr Andrea Subryan PhD, MSc, LLB
Governor
I work in Higher Education and am the Programme Lead for the BA (Hons) Business Psychology Programme in Manchester. I have worked in education for over 10 years. My teaching specialism includes Organisational Behaviour/HR, Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, and Workplace Culture. I have the following qualifications -
I continue to be a parent of a current pupil as well as a former pupil.
I became a Governor to advocate for quality education with a focus on equality and inclusion. I wanted to influence positive changes, support pupil development, and give back to my community. The role puts me in a position to enhance the educational experience of the pupils and ensure that every child has the opportunity to succeed and thrive.
I sit on the Education, Teaching and Learning group, although I contribute generally on the EDI agenda across the governing body groups.
I am the Chair for the External EDI Working Group at Sheffield United Football Club. Prior to working in education, I was a family lawyer for over 10 years. I also hold the role of Stream Leader for the International University Forum Human Resource Development Conference. I support a local sixth form activity of carrying out mock interviews for A level students applying for Medicine or Dentistry.
