The Westbourne Word – Goodbye Yr 11 Journalists!
The latest edition of our student magazine is a really special one as it contains the final pieces from our Yr 11 writers. They took the helm of The Westbourne Word almost three years ago now and in that time their journalistic prowess has just grown and grown. Elena has intrigued us with her “History’s Greatest Mysteries” feature; Sam has made us laugh out loud with his bizarre and quirky tales; and we’ve had no shortage of films to watch with Carter’s Guide to the Classics. Bethany, Leila, Neema and Ayaan have also been such a valuable part of the team, researching, debating and delivering a range of articles on a huge variety of issues, some of them rather thorny!
We cannot praise them enough for their dedication in making The Westbourne Word the successful publication it is today. Thank you Yr 11 writers for keeping us all informed and entertained! Thank you too to our new Yr 9 journalists who have contributed so many fabulous articles to our latest issue; The Westbourne Word has certainly been left in capable hands!
