Westbourne children keep fit together in classroom and at home
Online or in person, our pupils are still finding ways to keep fit together as the current lockdown continues.
Only the children of key workers are currently in class but they were joined online by 50 remote pupils for a virtual keep fit session organised by Head of Girls’ Games Laura Mirfin.
“Through both the previous and current lockdown, we have maintained a full timetable of daily lessons for all our pupils,” said Westbourne Junior School Head Jon Clark.
“A key part of that process has been ensuring that our children can get away from their computer screens and enjoy some vital physical activity.
“To have more than 50 children all exercising together at the same time under these difficult circumstances was an achievement we are all proud of.
“As we look forward to being in school together again, it’s good to see that all our children are still fully engaged and making the most of all the online opportunities we are providing.”
