We’re delighted to announce that scholarship applications are now open to existing pupils and external applicants planning to join Westbourne School in Year 7 in September 2023.
What is a Westbourne scholarship?
Scholarships into our Senior School are open to existing pupils and external applicants. These offer the chance for reduced fee places, to children identified as talented or higher performing and who would benefit from the opportunities that are available at Westbourne.
Scholarships involve an exam and assessment and are based on exceptional recent achievement, performance in the scholarship exam and their talent. There are five categories:
- Academic
- Music
- Sport
- Drama
- Any combination of the above 4.
NB However entry to Westbourne Senior School is not dependent upon sitting these exams.
When are the scholarship exams?
We will have three scholarship exam dates in January. We will invite applicants into school on one of these days once we know numbers and types of application.
