KWC – Tuesday 19/05/2020
Our KWC had another day of learning in school here at Westbourne today, with pupils again from Junior and Senior school, Pre-School up to Year 10. Ten KWC were with us, taking the opportunity to come into school as Key Worker Children, continuing to advance their learning across the many subjects they are studying.
Subjects of particular interest today included archaeology and Iron Age forts, an exploration of the spread of the Spanish language, exploring how music can add suspense and tension to tales and stories, along with the core subjects of English, Maths and Science, all making for another varied and interesting day of learning for our students.
The weather continues to be dry so we again took the opportunity to get outside for another excellent yoga session with Mrs Khan, who gave up her time to give our pupils time away from their online learning, delivering a superb yoga class to our ten pupils of all ages. We appreciate this, as it was clear that all enjoyed it and felt the benefits of outdoor physical activity in the middle of a day of learning.
