Key Worker Children – Thursday 21/05/2020
Another really warm day here at Westbourne as our KWC were busy with their studies in the lead up to a well-earned half-term break next week. Time was split between lessons in the Junior School building, learning online via Google Classroom, then outside for physical activities and time in the sunshine and fresh air.
Lessons were, as ever, varied and learning advanced in Maths, English, Forest School, Art, Archaeology, History, Humanities and Spanish to name a few. ICT skills were also developed, not just through lesson delivered remotely, but also through our students’ ability to adapt and learn to this newer way of learning online.
Our KWC have really come together over this time, building friendships and working well as a team today, to help tidy up the PE and sports equipment they have used this half-term – ready to be cleaned and stored for our return after the half-term break. Adam Day will be back in school tomorrow morning for his final fitness session, good weather is forecasted, so our KWC will enjoy this on their last day before the half-term break.
