‘International Day of Women and Girls in Science’
On Thursday 11th February we will be marking ‘International Day of Women and Girls in Science’ in our lessons and activities throughout the day.
Fewer than 30% of researchers worldwide are women, and at Westbourne we are committed to addressing gender balance in the subject. On the day we will learn about famous female scientists and the impact their discoveries and innovations had on the world.
