In a dazzling display of talent, enthusiasm, and collaboration, Westbourne School marked a memorable House Day last Friday, igniting the school grounds with a burst of energy and creativity. The day was a splendid blend of cultural rhythms, strategic brilliance, and artistic flair.
Bollywood Beats and Dance Off: A Spectacular Start to the Day
The festivities began with infectious Bollywood rhythms echoing through Westbourne School, as both pupils and staff took to the dance floor. The atmosphere was electric as incredible dance moves were showcased, culminating in a sensational dance-off finale.
Chess Competition: Where Strategy Met Brilliance
Pupils engaged in a gripping chess competition that put strategy and intellect to the test. The chessboards witnessed intense moves and brilliant tactics, with participants displaying exceptional skill and sportsmanship. Junior School children had the opportunity to challenge Year 7 and Year 8 pupils. The competition not only showcased the pupils’ prowess but also fostered a sense of healthy competition and strategic thinking.
Designing the Future: Creative Sparks Ignited
Year 3 – Year 6 pupils demonstrated their artistic flair in a design competition centered around crafting new house shields. Working collaboratively, they poured their creativity into shaping the identity of their respective houses.
