FORMER Head Boy Andrew McKinna has been awarded the Sheffield College Best Achievement Award for students aged 18 to 20.
Andrew, who was our Head Boy in 2019/20 was chosen from among 4,000 students at the college.
“Just as we recognised how special he was when we selected him as Head Boy, Andrew’s intelligence, charm, determination and work ethic have been recognised again with this prestigious award,” said Headmaster John Hicks.
“We are so proud of him – of the boy he was and the man he has become.”
Andrew is predicted to get 3 Distinction stars in his Level 3 BTEC in Sports Coaching and Development.
He has now accepted a place at Hull University to study a BSc in Sports Rehabilitation (Injury Prevention and Injury Treatment).
