Book Onto Our Autumn Series Of Open Events! Find Out About Scholarships!
On Saturday 13th November, a group of determined Westbourne staff, pupils and families participated in Endcliffe Park Run to raise money for our chosen charity, The Snowdrop Project. We decided to come together and run 5K because we wanted to use our skills and passion for keeping fit to make a difference to our local community.
We were running alongside a group of 484 other runners, joggers and walkers. Mr Lomax finished in an impressive 19 minutes and 48 seconds on the back of running 6 miles before arriving at the park run. He was closely followed by Westbourne pupil Sharif who finished in 23 minutes and 43 seconds. It was great to hear some of the runners wanting to complete their local park run again next week. We would like to thank all of the Westbourne families who came out to run and support, it was brilliant to see you all. We are very grateful to all of you who donated, we raised an incredible £250 for The Snowdrop Project.
Participants: Robin Lomax, Cordelia King, Matthew Hawker, Emma Rees-Oxley, Heidi Shackleton, Rosina Khan, Akbar Khan, Sharif Khan, Zahra Khan, Brittany Northcott, Emily Vaughn, Alexander Hussey, Charlotte Hussey
