We Remember Them

Remembrance prayer written by two Y6 pupils

Our father,

We're standing quietly here in Remembrance week wearing our poppies.

Help us to think about the thousands of people who gave their lives so we could have a better future.

Please help us remember those who fought and died in wars, survivors and their families.

Let us appreciate the suffering of people who have given their lives for our freedom.

Enable us to show courage and kindness in our lives and to remember them by wearing a poppy at this time of year.
