Pre-School children had a great morning with their Reception Class friends at Whirlow exploring the magical fairy woods and collecting natural objects to make colourful pictures. They also worked as a team to collect resources to make a house for the fairies as theirs had been blown down in the terrible winds the night before. The children collected sticks, leaves, berries, moss, straw and stones. They then had great fun making houses for the fairies. On the way back they used magnifying glasses to search for animal footprints on the ground. The children also looked at where a badger lives before enjoying a well earned picnic.
