Scholarship star

One of the toughest academic tests in the country has been passed by 13-years-old Westbourne student Benedict Kennedy. After two rounds of rigorous tests, Benedict has secured one of the coveted Academic Scholarships to Oundle School. The Dronfield boy follows in the footsteps of his uncles. “This is an outstanding achievement,” said Westbourne School head John Hicks. “Oundle scholarships are extremely competitive and it is a tribute to Benedict and the teaching team here at Westbourne.”
