An extra special ‘Bravo!’ to the talented musicians and vocalists who performed at last night’s Spring Recital. This prestigious affair took place in the Upper Chapel, a grade II listed building situated in the heart of Sheffield on Norfolk Street on the evening of Tuesday 21st May.

Once more we saw Lola Brereton on piano open the proceedings. This was promptly followed by a varied and thought provoking hour long programme which couldn’t fail to delight (see below for details).

This event really showcased the talent we are creating in our music department and made for a really exciting and feel good evening.

Well done to our Music Department and especially their talented pupils for an excellent evening of music.

A special mention must go to Andy Lu in Year 3 who played Sonatina on piano – all from memory! and to Theo Drainville Saul for his 8 minutes piece, Asturias (Leyenda) on classical guitar.
