Year 5 had a fabulous time on their Residential last week at WhiteHall, Buxton. All the staff and the children were really enthusiastic and we enjoyed a range of activities including climbing wall, stream scrambling, caving, canoeing, assault course and the high Zip Wire. On the last day we all did the Leap of Faith; we climbed a very high ladder and jumped across to a high trapeze.( Mr Tedcastle even managed it when the instructor moved it further out!) The instructors were kind and taught us many new skills and the Year 5’s were fantastically behaved demonstrating the Westbourne Values throughout. We ate really well and we had a great time spending our money in the Tuck Shop. It was wonderful to spend 3 days together in such idyllic settings and to get the opportunity to try so many new things. Well done, Year 5! You did your teachers proud! You will now have some wonderful memories of our trip.
