Children Experiment in the Kitchen
Children Lower School have been experimenting with ingredients found under
their kitchen sink as part of a school Science day.
The children were visited by Dave Gayton from Magna, as he put on his
Kitchen Sink Science Show.
They watched and participated in messy experiments using a whole range
of everyday materials such as vinegar, coca cola, water and bleach.
Lower 2 Form teacher Jeanette Barber said, “The children enjoyed
participating in the different experiments and it has been a fantastic way
to motivate them to get involved, hands on, with Science.”
The Kitchen Sink Show covers KS1, 2 and 3 Science curriculum including
Materials, Forces and Motion.
