Year 10 and Year 11 Film Studies students went on a two day trip to London. 19 students along with Mrs Loane and Mr Motley, travelled down in comfort on a 53 seater coach.
When we arrived, our friendly guide, Dave, took us on a four hour tour of the London sights including the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. We also managed to have our photo taken with a giant panda in Trafalgar Square! Later we visited The National Gallery looking at the old masters before our meal at Planet Hollywood that evening. Finally we arrived at the hotel in Wembley for a well deserved sleep.
The next morning we travelled once again into central London where we went to the Bond in Motion exhibition at the London Film Museum. This was a fantastic place with a wide array of exhibits and cars from the various James Bond films over the years. Later that day we got to spend a couple of hours in Covent Garden. We were lucky as it was a bright sunny day in London and a good opportunity to shop at the various markets.
Overall it was a fantastic experience and as a first ever Film Studies trip, it was a resounding success.
