Junior School learned about the environment in lots of creative ways during Arts Week. Fun art and craft activities included making the longest paper chain ever, making mosaic masks, recycling litter into art and planting flowers.
All the materials used for the art projects were from recycled or reclaimed material. A variety of artists and experts visited to help with projects. Mr and Mrs Crowson from the RSPB Chesterfield Group came into School to help J4 make their own bird feeders, which are hung up in the school garden. At the end of Arts Week, Junior School came together for a special assembly to share what they had made and what they had learned.
