On Thursday 28th September Year Four enjoyed a blast from the past when they visited Haddon Hall. The children became immersed in the life of this Tudor manor house and even dressed up as some of the colourful characters connected to the hall.
During the tour, the ‘Winter Palure’ was visited so that the children could study the painted ceiling and carved panelling. This proved to be the perfect location to inspire creativity for our design and technology project on Tudor purses.
“My favourite part was dressing up as John Manners,” said Richard. “ I got to wear baggy trousers!”
