Westbourne Girls come third
Sheffield Schools’ Cross Country – Westbourne Girls come Third
A team of five year 6 girls performed really well last Saturday (6th March), despite the cold wet weather and the boggy cross country course in Graves Park. The Westbourne team came third out of the Sheffield Schools: there were 127 runners in total and, considering that we only have one girl who actually does any form of training, this was an excellent result!
Maddie Pearce came 5th overall, which was also her personal best, followed by Sophie Brotherstone, who finished 16th, Jemima Board who finished 30th, Olivia Burnham finished 31st and Rebecca Fowler finished 42nd. Well done girls!
