Pupils banking on Christmas Cheer

HSBC Bank customers serenaded

Westbourne’s pupils banking on Christmas cheer

YOUNGSTERS from Sheffield’s Westbourne school have been remembering the true spirit of Christmas with a seasonal event for the community.

On December 3, pupils sang carols for the customers and staff in the Broomhill branch of HSBC, whilst raising money for the Children’s Hospital Charity.

“The children were a credit to Westbourne School”, said HSBC bank manager Matt Naylor. “We enjoyed a mince pie and a little early festive cheer with our customers, whilst supporting an excellent charitable cause.  This event was a source of great pleasure to everybody involved.”
