How accessible is this site?
Westbourne School website conforms to W3C Priority 2 Guidelines for accessibility. The site includes several
options allowing the user to adjust the settings to suit their requirements and provide
greater accessibility.

Keyboard Shortcuts (Access Keys)
Integrated keyboard shortcuts,
known as Access Keys, allow quick access to pages and
provide quick and easy navigation for users without a mouse.
Keyboard shortcuts can be used from any page in the site and are listed below:
0 = Homepage
1 = Message from the Headmaster
2 = Junior School
4 = Senior School
5 = Sport Westbourne
6 = Community Work
7 = Contact Us
8 = Old Westbournians
9 = Access Key Details (Homepage only)
To use these access keys follow the instructions below:
Microsoft Internet Explorer - press 'Alt' and key, then press enter.
Netscape - press 'Alt' and key at the same time
Mozilla - press 'Alt' and key at the same time
Apple Mac's - hold down 'Control' key, then press key
Adjusting the text size
The text size used throughout the site is easily increased or decreased
using your browser. A couple of examples of how to do this are listed below:
Changing your text size in Microsoft Internet Explorer:
1. Select 'Text Size' from the 'View' menu.
2. Select from the list of predefined text sizes raning from 'Largest' to 'Smallest'.
Changing your text size in Mozilla:
1. Select 'Text Size' from the 'View' menu.
2. Select 'Increase Font' or 'Decrease Font' to adjust the font size accordingly.
Alternatively you can adjust your text size in many browsers by holiding
down the 'Ctrl' key (PC) and using your mouse scroll wheel to increase
or decrease your text size.
