Teaching aids, well-equipped classrooms and modern technology
are nothing without the proper calibre of staff and Westbourne's
teaching staff is its greatest asset.
All teaching staff are well qualified and all continue with
extended research and study in their fields of interest and
professional responsibility - staff training is essential as
are effective appraisal systems and classroom observations by the
Senior Management Team.
It is their dedication and endeavour which helps to create the
very positive atmosphere which can so readily be felt. All staff at
Westbourne are expected to go the extra mile and offer extra
curricular activities out of school time and many
also give up their holidays to take trips abroad.
Westbourne enjoys the services of a remarkably loyal and
efficient staff, this includes teachers, groundsmen, kitchen staff
and our admin team. The efforts of our Governors are
also reflected in the high standards which are evident around
the School.
